Bachelorette Party Essentials

Throw one last bash for your friend before she officially turns into a Missus!

The Party Date

Surprise her by throwing a bachelorette party a few weeks before her wedding. Don’t make it too close to the big day or she might be too busy, too preoccupied, or too stressed then. Make sure to coordinate with her groom-to-be to make sure she’s available on the date and time you’re eyeing.

The Party Place

Hold the celebration in a place that your guest of honor is into, such as a karaoke bar or a luxurious spa. Call in advance to book a private room and ask for their party packages.

The Party Guests

Round up all her close relatives and girlfriends from past to present—her siblings, relatives, high school pals, college block mates, and work friends. Invite a select group of girls your bride-to-be won’t be embarrassed to share intimate details with. (Side note: It may not be a good idea to invite her mother and mother-in-law to be!)

The Party Details

A few days before the party, make sure the following details are in order.

Choose a cute or sexy theme, and base everything else on it. Ask guests to wear outfits and buy presents related to the theme.

The decorations can be simple yet reflect the theme of your bachelorette party. Buy buntings, balloons, and party hats that can instantly liven up your chosen venue.

Are your guests picky with food? Will you serve booze? Do you prefer to order food and have it delivered to the party? These are some things you need to consider early on. If you need help with the cost of the food and venue reservation, ask guests in advance if they’re okay with chipping in.

Will you prepare games or hire a stripper? Will you opt for relaxing massages or get matching mani-pedis? Make sure to keep your bride-to-be’s personality and interests in mind when you plan the entertainment. It should be something she would be game to do.

You can have a mix of naughty and nice party games such as the Never Have I Ever Drinking Game, Design the Wedding Dress (using rolls of tissue paper), Bachelorette Mad Libs, Sexy Scavenger Hunt, and more!

Surprise attendees with special gifts they can bring home after the party. It can be as simple as tasty sugar cookies or extravagant like customized ring holders.
