Heavy rain poured on the afternoon of September 19, 2009. It was something almost all couples dread to experience on their wedding day. But Andre & Vina braved it. For like a rain that would never stop, the couple showed overflowing happiness and love the entire day…
In front of family and friends, the couple exchanged their heartfelt vows at St. Michael the Archangel church in Taguig.
They continued their celebration at The Blue Leaf events place. In Yellow and Blue motif, the entourage reflected the sunny and friendly atmosphere that is just perfect for a couple like Andre & Vina. Despite the weather, the Jade Pavilion of The Blue Leaf was filled with people whose lives were touched by this lovely couple.
The delicious aroma of food by Hizon’s Catering welcomed the guests to an inviting feast. During the reception, Andre rendered the song ‘Just the Way You Are’ for Vina and also played the guitar. He may not be the best singer in town, but every note and every word really struck a chord to everyone there. It was simple yet unforgettable.
Truly, it is a blessing to find that one person who complements you in every way. And you don’t have to be from the same culture or continent to have that.
This couple, who met in Switzerland last July 2008 through a common friend, instantly felt the connection. After a couple of months of getting to know each other, and Andre visiting Vina in the Philippines; this charming German guy then proposed, on February 2009, to his beloved Filipina.
For some, it may seem to be a fast-paced relationship, but they knew their hearts were on the right place. Having dedicated all their time for work, in the past, they never felt the strong need for a life-time partner until they met. An answered prayer is what they are to each other.
With God in the center of their marriage, and a commitment of love ever after, Andre & Vina will continue to brave any storm because they know it would all be worth it.
